Pete Beer Cedar Rosewood, 650mm Scale
Pete Beer is one of the younger generation of luthiers who is pioneering the use of sustainable woods in the construction of his high quality concert guitars.
The guitar has a Cedar top and Rosewood back and sides. There are marks on the soundboard consistent with its age, being build in2007 and played, so its condition is very good. The scale length is 650mm and the compensated nut is standard at 52mm. String heights at the 12th fret are 4mm and 3.4 mm for the low and high E strings respectively. The guitar also features a sound port on the upper side of the upper bout and a raised fingerboard on the bass side. Its sound has the mellowness of Cedar and the balance and projection are very good. Overall a very good and easy to play guitar.
