The Joan Cashimira workshop in Alicante is famous for producing an extensive range of classical guitars to suit all tastes and budgets.  The model range starts in the 20's and goes up to 145, which is their semi-professional standard.  Beyond that there is the A range, which are made in their own workshops rather than by others and generally agreed to be their professional range.  This set starts at 4A and goes up to 1A, with increasing complexity of inlays etc.

The guitar is a model 4A and has a Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides.  The scale length is 650mm and the nut width 52mm.  The label is signed by Joan Cashimira, unlike the numbered series, indicating that it was made in the workshop.  The guitar is in very good condition and has the typical Spanish sound of bright trebles and strong basses.
